MISSION
The mission of the By-Law Review Committee is to review the Town’s current By-Laws and make recommendations to the Town Manager for revisions and changes in light of the May 2009 Amended Charter, the 2011 Reorganization Plan, and other factors or issues which the Committee and town administration identify as pertinent. The Committee will focus on the General By-Law sections including Administrative and Department/Division sections. The Town Manager, working with Town Counsel, will review the recommendations of the By-Law Committee and will utilize those recommendations in the formulation of revised By-Laws to present to Town Meeting for consideration.
